Meet Krigsgaldr (Blaise)

“I am Krigsgaldr, Shield of Vengeance”

Hi, I’m Blaise. I’m playing Krigsgaldr, a Dwarven Vengeance Paladin. He’s bold, cunning and the defender of the defenseless.

Providing Our DM does not viciously end you in a cruel twist of fate, what kind of person will we find Krigsgaldr to be?

Blaise: Man, Krigsgaldr.. Strong, kind, and unfortunately bold on occasion.. I expect Krigs to prove himself as a kind-hearted soul. Someone that will defend the defenseless and be willing to sacrifice himself for what is actually right.. But we can’t always know what is “right,” can we? He’s no saint, but he never wanted to be in the first place. Live and let live.

How is Krigsgaldr similar and different to you?

Blaise: Ha. Krigs might be more impulsive. I’m often pretty brash, but Krigs might prove to be even more so in some ways. I guess time will tell with him as he becomes more of a realized character. I’d like to think I portray him with a lot of heart. Maybe that’s something we have in common.

Is it easy to roleplay as Krigsgaldr?

Blaise: It has it’s challenging moments, lol. Early in the campaign, he was easy going and just more of a free spirit, but cross a line and his path at the same time… Yea, that’s the easiest times I’ve had so far, the times he’s outraged has actually been my own genuine outrage. I really enjoy exploring him as a character.

Any fun or surprising facts about you yourself?

Blaise: Some of my earliest memories was on stage in professional musical theater as a child. For at least a decade, my life was the stage and acting on it. When not on stage, we were making ridiculous home movie productions. Comedic remakes of The Karate Kid and other ridiculous goofs. They’re pretty ridiculous.

What would be the perfect weekend for Krigsgaldr? No spoilers.

Blaise: Mead. Meats. Metal. …but no, really. He’s a simple dwarf. A few friends, lots of good drink, a good meal.. If he can’t have that, just the soft warm glow of his home’s forge.
