About the Show
The hired swords is a 5e based Dungeons and Dragons actual play podcast. We’re a group of friends, new and old, that found themselves needing a new vice in what has been the decade of 2020. Escaping to the world of Greater Glentry and D&D itself has been as much therapy as it has been a wonderful platform to express our creativity and sense of adventure! Heyo, I am Mike and will be playing Joxxer, a drunken monk who may have a deal with a devil. He tries to keep to himself but mainly because his family is well known for their wines. His family did not agree with his suggestions for improving their wine and was essentially sent off to live with the monks. He found beer. That was all she wrote! Or is it?
